


Susan Avishai
Susan Avishai, originally from Montreal, has been a lifelong professional artist with 16 solo shows, international juried exhibitions, and work in corporate collections and a museum. She was elected into the Ontario Society of Artists in 2015 and is a Juried Artist Member of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA).
Her work has been written about in Fiber Art Now, Textile Fibre Forum, Patchwork Professional, Art Quilting Studio, and the SAQA Journal, and included in Dimensional Cloth: Sculpture by Contemporary Textile Artists. In 2023 she was a Featured Speaker at the SAQA Conference in Toronto and that year guest-curated an exhibition of up-cycled textile art at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Ontario.
