No Place Like Home

Size: 42'' x  66''

Shelter is a basic human need, and its absence brings a profound, soul-searing loss of security. The homeless often feel invisible, as if they have no place in the world.

"No Place Like Home" portrays homeless men, women, and children with faces marked by hopelessness, despair, anger, or quiet acceptance. They sit beneath real estate ads for multi-million-dollar homes — a stark irony that highlights the deep divide between wealth and need.

Inspired by a photo by Stephen Davies of Hawaii, used with permission.
