Helen Creasey
Helen Creasey is a British, award-winning quilt artist and pattern designer. She creates as much as possible around the demands of her young family. What began as a therapeutic outlet in 2018, soon evolved into a deep passion and appetite for connecting with and inspiring others.
Often pictorial, Helen's work varies in both style and technique. It is bold and graphic, frequently incorporating colour gradients and drawing on her background in architecture to bring intricate detail and structural depth to each piece. Her body of work serves as a personal record of her interests and a reflective process of her life experiences. Helen is continually learning, challenging herself and refining her practice through experimentation and creative exploration.
In 2023 and 2024, Helen's work was celebrated at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, UK, where she was awarded Visitor's Choice and Excellence in Machine Quilting, respectively.

Reclaimed Resistance
Size: 43.2'' x 62''
Boudicca, the legendary warrior heroine of
ancient Britain, united opposing tribes against Roman oppression to secure a future for her wronged daughters. As I face the uncertainty and often alarming future of our own society and planet, I draw strength from her legacy.
This quilt is both a reflection and a call to
resistance — a personal battle cry for collective action to safeguard the world my daughters will inherit.
